Environment/Ambiance/Food: The place is superb,no bones about it. T house, by the way, stands for Tranquility House and the name already speaks for itself. The place is real quiet and all you can hear is the flowing water in their fountains. Lots of trees and there's this specific area where you can just lounge while listening to your iPod or reading magazines. Since the place is full of plants and trees, it's sort of expected that tiny insects will be flying around. Well, that's actually the use of the net (posh mosquito nets) in every couch.

The food is great though quite expensive, I think it's almost Php 600.00/person. However, when you stay overnight at T House, you can just drown yourself with their heavenly tasting breads. Take note, it's unlimited. Love the cheese bread. I really wished I got loads of them and took them home.

Their room, like the ambiance outside, has a zen feel. Nothing very special but I must say it looks really cool. They have rooms inspired by the elements of Earth, Water and Fire with corresponding colors. Brown, blue and red respectively. We stayed at Earth 7 since almost all the rooms are already booked. Yep, they have so many visitors so be sure you book ahead of time. We're just lucky to get a room even though we just walked in.

Haven't tried all of their services but their one hour full body massage worth Php 500.00 is worth the money. I must say that I love their body massage than Sonya's Garden's.

Would love to go back soon. I'll give it 4 stars out of 5 since there's always a room for improvement. Maybe they can find a way where they can lessen the crawling and flying insects...though they don't really bug me at all. Hehehe. ^_^

Staff: All their staff are very friendly. From the managers down to the guards. All of them always wear a smile on their faces. You'll really feel at home with them.

Ride a bus? Take a tricycle?

Did the author just throw this resort under the bus?

It sounds like a motel geared towards the C&D level of society.

Wouldn't the T House want to be regarded in the same level as the best of Tagaytay's Bed and Breakfast properties. These are all focused on the A&B levels and it shows. Country Suites etc? Since when would an A or B level consumer ride a bus and take a tricycle to a 6000 peso per night bed and breakfast?

Perhaps the hotel should spend a little more next time for it's review

excuse me? not all people who take buses or tricycles can't afford to stay at T House. Us included. We opt to commute all the way to tagaytay and not bring a car. The direction posted is for commuters. There's an address and landmark included for those who will be bringing a car.

hi toni. i just couldn't stop myself from posting a comment. not having your own car should not stop you from traveling or experiencing such A&B hotels. i find that person's comment rude. we also took the bus and tricycle (thanks to your blog that's how i found out we can commute to 1 of my now favorite places in the Phils) on our way to T House. i had the best experience there... the food was excellent as well as the massage!

"Perhaps the hotel should spend a little more next time for it's review" - duh?!? it's not the hotel's fault if we don't have a car. sorry, can't help it, really.

    Hi Marj,

Yes, that Anonymous person's comment is really offensive, especially to those people who don't own a car. He/She made it sound like people like us, who don't bring cars, don't have the right to experience T House.

Anyway, T House is also one of my fave destinations in Tagaytay. Glad you enjoyed. ^_^

The comments of anonymous person is not offensive. He/she belongs to class A or B so you can't changed his/her way of thinking. This anonymous person should rather go to Tagaytay Highlands than T House.

    Dear anonymous/he/she/it:

    Whatever, social climber.

    Have a nice day.

    Dear toni,

Commuting is interesting and fun. The point on going on an adventure is how you get there not if you own a car or just commute. Point is you can get there.

PS. Nice post. Will take the fiance there one day.

    Thanks,
    Tapioca

Hi Toni! Just ignore that rude person who thinks he / she is above others just because he / she has a car ... Does he / she really has one? Anyway, thanks for posting how to get there. I would like to spend my birthday there next year.

riding a bus and trike would be an adventure! In fact i would like to try it 1 day even if i have several cars to ferry me to 6k a night hotel in tagaytay! there are times you have to try something different to make it more memorable!

btw where do you take a bus going to tagaytay. i live at timog ave. are the terminals along EDSA plying the tagaytay route? please advise. id like to try commuting for a change! Even if i belong to the AB crowd!!! HAHA. i just want to prove that guy wrong! and thats correct why disparage CD people from trying out expensive hotels? so impolite!

Hi there! I'm not so sure about that because usually, the terminals along EDSA are bound to the North or Batangas. But you can take Nasugbu, Batangas then tell the conductor that you'll go down sa Olivarez, Tagaytay. You may also go to the bus terminal sa may malapit sa Ali Mall. They have buses there papuntang Tagaytay. =) Hope this helps. ^_^
